Transferring Your RRSP's To The MBN Bond Fund

Step One:

Contact MBN Bond Fund at 1.877.212.8002 or visit us online at www.mbnbondfund.com to purchase your bonds.  You can process your transfer online on our secure website, or a Senior Consultant can sit with you one-on-one to address all of your questions and walk you through the necessary paperwork.

Step Two: 

If you are transferring funds from an existing RSP account then all bonds purchased must be done so through our trustee; Olympia Trust.  Olympia Trust requests the transfer from your relinquishing institution leaving you hassle free. 

Step Three:

Olympia Trust receives your funds, completes the bond purchase, and requests a Bond Certificate.  Upon completion of the purchase you begin earning interest.

Step Four:

The managing law firm of Scott Hall LLP issues your Certificate and provides you with a copy, along with a copy of your Subscription Agreement.

Purchasing MBN Bonds Outside Of A Registered Plan:

Are you purchasing MBN Bonds using money outside of a Registered Plan? 
The process remains the same, only instead of involving Olympia Trust for the transfer you make the cheque payable directly to MBN Bond Fund Ltd. for the face value of your bond.  Following this, Scott Hall LLP issues your Certificate and we send this to you with a copy of your Subscription Agreement.
